Roasted Almonds

These delicious roasted almonds are great for the cold weather season!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups almonds, unsalted
  • 1 egg white

Spicy Option:

  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp course sea salt
  • 2 tsp oregano

Sweet Option:

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Beat the egg white in a bowl until it has a foamy consistency.
  • Add the almonds to the egg whites and mix well. In a separate bowl add the spicy option or sweet option together.
  • Add the spicy mix or sweet mix to the almonds and mix well.
  • Spread the almond mix on the baking sheet and spray the almonds with cooking spray. Put in the oven on the middle rack.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes. When done baking, cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Place almonds into an airtight container. Enjoy!
