Chocolate Coconut Cream Iced Coffee

- 12 ounces water
- 1-2 tbsp instant coffee regular or decaf
- 1 tbsp maca root powder
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 ounces coconut cream coffee creamer unsweetened (any brand)
- 2-3 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1-2 drops coconut essence can use coconut or vanilla extract
- 1 cinnamon stick
Place your cinnamon stick in a pot with the water and bring to a boil for about 2 minutes.
Next, add your maca root powder and cocoa powder and whisk until smooth.
Add the instant coffee and coconut sugar. Whisk.
Once the ingredients are mixed, add the coconut cream and simmer on medium low for one minute.
Turn the stove off and add coconut essence.
Strain if you would like and let cool for about 20 minutes.
Once cooled down, pour over ice! If you would like to enjoy it hot just pour into a mug.
