  • Coconut milk creamer or Coconut Milk
  • Cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut essence/extract or Vanilla Extract 
  • Maca root powder

This drink a delicious treat and it contains hydrating ingredients! Water is a great source of hydration, and so is coconut milk! Coconut milk is high in potassium which is an important nutrient in our body and in our diet.

Iron and zinc play important roles in your immune system and help your body function. Selenium is an antioxidant that helps protect us from free radicals. It also is important for thyroid gland function and DNA function. 

Brown sugar is a fantastic high calorie ingredient and makes this drink sweet and delicious! Cinnamon and coconut essence or vanilla extract add flavor and depth.

The Peruvian native population that lives in the central Andes has been using Maca root, after naturally drying it, for centuries. Maca is popularly used to help with fertility; it is believed that it has fertility enhancing properties.  

Some more potential benefits of Maca powder are for sexual wellness, osteoporosis, and memory and learning. Maca is a root vegetable and belongs to the mustard family. Related plants to Maca are turnips, mustard, cabbage, and watercress.
