  • Full Fat Coconut Milk
  • Maple Syrup
  • White Rum
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Coconut Extract
  • Ground Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon 

Alcohol Swap: If you would like to make this recipe alcohol free, replace the rum with coconut milk. However if you still want that delicious rum flavor, you can add rum extract to taste! 

Recipe Variations

As always, you can swap out the alcohol with coconut milk to make this a nonalcoholic drink! For the maple syrup, you can try using honey or agave nectar. Vanilla extract can be swapped with any other extract you like. For the non alcoholic version you can add rum extract. 

For the spices, you can add cloves, or swap out all the spices for just cinnamon! Traditionally, the recipe uses nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves for a delicious spiced drink.

It goes without saying that drinking alcohol in excess can be harmful for your health. It can damage your liver and heart, increase the chances of developing certain cancers, lead to depression, and is a major cause of fatal traffic accidents.

  • 1 1/2 cups Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup White Rum
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Coconut Extract
  • 2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 3 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend, and serve! Enjoy!

Notes

No Alcohol: Swap the white rum with coconut milk and add rum extract if you still want the rum flavor!
